About Dr. Andrei Aleinikov, Founding President, International Academy of Genius                                           



Dr. Aleinikov, "The Most Creative Man in the World," or "The MegaCreativity Man," as Dr.  E. Paul Torrance called him, or "the world's leading expert on MegaCreativity," as Dr. K. Neethling, the founder of African Creativity Foundation called him, is famous for his discovery of the human mind ability to generate over 1,000,000 new ideas per minute.

Dr. Aleinikov's book titled, "MegaCreativity: Five Steps to Thinking Like a Genius" (Walking Stick Press, Cincinnati, 2002 also reprinted by John Wiley and Sons, Singapore, 2003) became a best-seller in Asia.

For the introduction of four new sciences, Dr. Aleinikov was nominated for the nation's highest scientific honor - the President's National Medal of Science (NSF, 2003-2006). His Genius Education Methodology (GEM, already labeled "the GEM of education" by media) brought him the 2005 George Washington Honor Medal, top National Award in the Teacher/Administrator Category from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, Pa., and the 2003 Outstanding Educator Award for Innovative and Creative Teaching from the Academy of Educational Leadership, N.C. At Troy University he was nominated for the U.S. Professor of the Year Award (CASE).

As a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow and a Guinness World Record holder, Dr. Aleinikov, inspires college and school students, trains educators and employees of Fortune 500 companies. About Dr. David A. Smarsh, Vice President, International Academy of Genius



Dr. David Smarsh (USAF Colonel) joined the International Academy of Genius in 2007. He served as the Chief of Staff of the Naval Postgraduate School (Monterey, California). Dr. Smarsh's career has encompassed a range of military leadership, operational and academic positions. His experience includes support to space shuttle, military aircraft, and various other federal and national programs. For excellence in service, he has been awarded numerous awards. Dr. Smarsh's education includes a bachelor's degree in meteorology, Florida State University, a master's degree in business, Boston University, a master's degree in meteorology, Georgia Institute of Technology, a Ph.D in atmospheric chemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology and a master's degree in strategic studies, Air War College.

About Michaella McFarland, Researcher, International Academy of Genius

Born and raised in the San Lorenzo Valley, Calif., Michaella Hope McFarland is an eighth grader at the San Lorenzo Valley Nature Academy. Science has always been her favorite in school - and since joining the International Academy of Genius, she has been working on Conservation Laws. In addition to her science studies, she has many hobbies, includes the debate team, swimming, biology, and french.
